January - Block of the month

This is the first block of my Be Attitudes blocks. A Art to Heart pattern. I want mine to include many President Hinkley's Bs. So, my first block is Be Still. 

Snowman Quilt Top

This is a pattern from Fons & Porter's November/December issue of Love of Quilting 2007. It was only a couple of weeks ago I came across the flannels that I needed to do the project. Flannels are often juvenile prints. When I found these, I had to make the purchase and the quilt right then and there. What do you think?

I'll be taking this to a friends house soon to do the quilting. 

Spider Web Quilt

Check out the progress I am making on my Spider Web Quilt. this pattern uses strips and paper piecing. Traditionally, you will see this quilt with white background pieces and pastels. But, you know how I feel about pastels! My choice was a grey print featuring spiders and brown, golds, purples, greens. All scraps from different Halloween projects. You know how I feel about Halloween. I am trying to sew a few minutes everyday on this project. Yes, I think I will have it done before fall.
