Grateful and Blessed

Garage Makeover

What a difference it makes. Brian filled in holes, did some sanding on the drywall and painted the Garage white. 

These hooks on the wall gets the ladders off the floor.

Than we hung these shelves and put our supplies into clear plastic bins. Smart.

Storing the bikes in a way that is easily accessible means we might ride our bikes more often.




Next step: scrubbing and sealing the floor.

Snow Flake Runner

Sew much fun! I learned to make the half square triangles. Don't look too close. I got better as I went along. I'll be quilting this free-motion style on my own sewing machine.

Hungry Caterpillar Quilt

I made three of these happy quilt tops. Saving them for my kids to use in their future homes. Makes me happy looking at these wonderful prints.

T-Shirt Quilt

When a friend asked me to help her with a T-Shirt quilt, I had to work up a pattern and make one myself to test that pattern. This is what I came up with utilizing 9 of my daughter's Ts. To make the twelve block necessary to make this a twin sized topper, I created some designs on the back of the shirts with my embroidery machine. Can't wait to have it quilted.

Fall Table Topper

Sewing Organizer

Organizer or decoration? You decide. This pattern and hanger was a birthday gift from some years ago. I finally sat down to do it this week. It is a cheery addition to my sewing room.

Plaid Scarf

Here is a fun project. It is crochet with a seed stitch called color pooling. It uses a variegated yarn to get the effect of a woven plaid.
