Some Fun Scarves
This is a variegated yarn worked on the diagonal. Yep, I found the yarn in the clearance bin. It was a lot of fun to work with the colors and textures. http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/outerwear/skylark-scarf/118777
This one I made wide with a twist when connected the two short edges to close the circle. I can wear it like a shrug or a scarf.

My version of a chunky V-stitch scarf with 3 buttons. Only I didn't use buttons. Lacing works too. No pattern.

New Thanksgiving Decorations
The leaf trivet is from a pattern on Pinterest. Such a fun pattern. I will tell you the story of this project in a different post.
This friendly fowl was a RS project that my sister sent to me in kit form. He was so much fun to create!
This dapper Tom is stuffed and dressed for Thanksgiving. A project in progress for some time now that I finally got to. And, glad I did.

James' 17th Birthday
Did you think James didn't have a party this year? He had a party... it was a surprise party thrown by friends. One friend ended up as his date for the Sadie Hawkin's dance.
The face is the 'do not take my picture' face.

A Scarf for My Sister
Well that secret is out. What she might have to figure out is which color way I made for her. She will just have to wait for the package in the mail.
Raised Beds

Project Day Two
And than, the colors.
Little kids, teens and adults came out to help.
Here is James... supervising.
James decided to add his own detail to the map. We made stencils for the postal abbreviations for each state to add to the map.
