Santa came. We ate breakfast all day long. We lounged in our PJ's.

A Pinterest Success
Two cute projects that made fun gifts for the Holidays. Wood burning on wooden spoons and a star shaped hot pad. The pattern was for a dish cloth for cotton yarn... I made two of the stars in acrylic yarn and edged them together for a double thick trivet.
Here is my red and white table setting. Cameron helped and we think it turned out pretty and festive. Don't you?

9 Degree Wedge Christmas Tree Skirt
This project has been on my to do list for a few years. The Wedge Ruler is by Marilyn Doheny and can be purchased on Amazon or Dohenybooks.com. Brianna helped me with the fabrics and she was the one that spotted the gold. I love the alternating green and red. Reminds me of Seminal quilting.
If you noticed that it is not quilted yet, you are right. I was so proud to have sewn the strips, cut out 40 wedges and sewn all 40 together.
Quilting will just have to wait.

It will be done for next year's tree.
