A New Tradition

This beautiful serving dish deserved something special... a few recipes reserved for Christmas stepped in to save the day.

My Beautiful Thanksgiving Table.

This is my Thanksgiving table setting.

This is the early birthday present my sister sent me! I did not even know this existed. Isn't it amazing?

It matches these amber glasses. My mom gave these to me. Don't they say fall to you?

Isn't it perfect?

Enderman Beanie

Yes, we have a Mine Craft geek in our house.

He requested an Enderman hat crocheted.

I asked that he had his homework caught up. It is a win for both of us.

Witch Turned Into A Frog

I was finally able to make a new Frog Witch since the original was stolen from our porch just before Halloween. The reptilian green batik is just perfect for her. As long as I was making another I decided to make two and send one to my sister and her family. All my sister needs now is an orange chair.

Make Over for Tom

This fellow was a project at RS in 1994!
He really needed a make over. I covered him with scrapbook paper and decoupage. Sugar Daddies make more interesting feathers than Dum Dums. Don't you think/

One of My Favorites!

This turkey snood for a pineapple was made and given to me by a friend. She may not know what she started. Every year I buy a pineapple or two and keep him in my kitchen for the season. He is made of felt. I have to tell you he makes me smile!

Two Faced

Here is my version of the JOY blocks my sister and I are doing together. The kit came with the letter blocks too big / out of proportion. My brother in law cut them down and made a nice router edge on the front. This was the side I put the letters JOY. But, I just couldn't stop. On the back are the letters BOO. I like the idea of having a multipurpose to the decorations. It just might make filing them away in the storage room harder though. Do I store with Christmas or Fall decorations?

Thankful

Here is a little paper project for Thanksgiving. (An under-decorated holiday for sure and a situation I intend on changing this year.) When the rest of the mantel is decorated I will post another picture. This isn't a bad start.
