This Afghan is finally complete. I have been hauling it around for almost a year, working on it while waiting for the kids. I love the texture of it. I finished it with a boarder instead of tassels because I worried that the tassels would look ragged after washing.

In the Wolf Den, one more wolf...
Doesn't he look cute in his uniform. Year - round school has afforded us (C and Mom) breaks from school when the older sibs are in school to work on scouting just the two of us. Tonight he will earn his Wolf Patch and 5 arrows.
Here is his terrific scout leader, who faithfully alerted parents by e-mail of all activities. I love email.

Curtains
I was able to add a little plaid punch to our kitchen this last week. I found this beauty on clearance at the fabric store. Marked down to $12 a yard from $29. Fade resistant and doesn't require lining. So I bought the remaining 7 yards. I sewed two panels for the slider...
And these two panels for the kitchen window. It came together so quickly because of how beautifully and evenly the weave laid. It was super easy to keep on grain and match those plaids. I love the results. What do you think?

St. Patrick's Day Cross Stitch
Here is a project that has been in the unfinished pile for a time. So don't be impressed that I finished this ahead of the holiday. It has missed at least one St. Patty's day. However, it is finally complete. This is cross stitch on Irish Linen. My old eyes found it a little challenging, to be sure. The piece is hemmed with mitered corners and drawn work.
